Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa have different driving styles, but both have achieved great things with them. Alonso, a more aggressive driver, is one of the most successful in the sport, with two World Championships under his belt. He somehow is able to pick up speed where no one else can, and so always has the upper hand when both defending against and attacking drivers. Felipe Massa is a more conservative driver, but it doesn’t make him any less fierce. The Brazilian has faced true heartbreak in his time in the sport. The 2008 season came down to the last race, the Brazilian Grand Prix. It was neck-and-neck: Lewis Hamilton needed to finish at least fifth to win the Championship, but was struggling. Massa had stormed to the win on his home track, and was temporarily World Champion, however Hamilton was somehow able to pass to gain fifth place, taking the championship by one point. The next year, Massa was involved in a severe crash, leaving him in a life-threatening condition. However, after a strong recovery and determination from the driver, Massa came back the next season, and since then has proven that nothing can bring him down. Both drivers are truly inspiring, as they are the epitome of skill, craftsmanship and determination.
